Prize-giving 2009

This year’s prize for co-productions by young filmmakers from Germany and Eastern Europe, which is awarded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, goes to the short film „Far from home“ from Germany and Serbia, the documentary „The exciting journey of the armchair“ from Germany and Poland and the animated film „Alerik“ from Germany and Macedonia. The prize for outstanding film concepts comes with total prize money of up to 210,000 euros and was awarded at the goEast Festival in Wiesbaden. The production projects will be implemented in Germany and the respective partner country; the German-French TV channel ARTE - partner of the Co-Production Prize - will screen one of the three films.
